Application [Pyrhic]

1. About my MapleStory Char (Chars, Equip, Range, HP)

IGN: Pyrhic, lv185 Paladin. Was hacked a 2~3 months back and recently started playing again, so was left with a few untradeable items and an Empress sword. Current range is at 24k with self mw (Paladins have naturally low ranges due to weapon multiplier and no + W.att skills), although there's some easy upgrades I can make.

2. Introducing Yourself

Name's Alex, I'm 18, living in the UK, I live by myself so can be around pretty much when ever as long as it doesn't clash with work or studying. Currently retaking some exams and working in events management.Its a pretty cool job as its very much varied, sometimes I'll be really busy others not so much. Some weekends I end up working 16 hours a day, others nothing. But usually I'll know in advance so I know when I'll be around for boss runs or any planned activity etc etc.

My interests, hmm well I used to be massive over basketball, but not played that for 6 months now. I think I prefer just going out with some friends and drinking now haha (yes, I know how generic that sounds, deal with it!) Currently watching Sword Art Online and One Piece, because I can and its free. Music, pretty varied actually, where I used to live was very multicultural so I've been dragged through KPop and JRock, G-Rap, Hard Style and all sorts. Liked aspects of most of em, although at the moment I like mixes of piano and more modern styles, seems to have a really calming effect and contrasts well with a lot of genres.

3. About Your MapleStory History (Previous Guilds Etc.)

Well, I started playing around late 2008 so I've been around a while. Previous Guilds were UndiesPatrol, Serene, Club69, and Wave, yes, I'm aware that a lot of old Wave/Rebirth members ended up here and no, i'm not applying just to be part of the crowd. Quit for around 2~3 months after getting hacked, but before that, I'd been guildless for probably 3 months+ (excluding a friends guild which I was in for a few days and told him I probably wouldn't stay).

Previous characters were WinterStylez (18x Bishop), Frostbité (120 KoC), Antonío (10x Outlaw).

4. Game Activity

Well, I can usually be around most days for a few hours, will normally know in advance when I wont be, but any time before 6 pm and I could get called in on very short notice.


5. Experience in MapleStory (Bossruns Etc. )

Comfortable with CHT and CZak, not done PB yet, done 2 Empress runs and hoping to do more. All other lesser bosses except past the 2nd quest line in Neo Tokyo

6. Your opinion about scamming, KSing and hacking

Scamming, I've always thought of as being totally self defeating, mesos and items can be bought back, reputation cant.
KS'ing, a Game Theorist's worst nightmare, usually results in neither parties achieving their goals and wastes everyone's time. People get too choked up on pride too easily.
Hacking, annoying. Period. People basically devaluing your time and effort for their own gains.

7. Reason(s) why you want to join Zenith

Well, I've never been big on guilds who constantly feel the need to flaunt and social whore out the whole time and Zenith seems to give out 'the silent power-house' kinda vibe as well as being a tightly knit community. I want to join to get involved with more boss runs and current and future party content as well as to meet new people and catch up with old ones.

8. What you expect from us

I'd like to think that Zenith will be an engaging guild, some others eventually just feel stagnant, where as the people I've meet so far seem to be pushing forward.


9. Reason(s) why you are the right person for the guild? / What you offer for this guild?

Well, I've got a decent in-game knowledge, motivation to move forward and would like to think of my self as fairly reliable. Class-wise, Paladins, although often under-rated/forgotten, are a solid bossing class so hopefully I'll be useful in that respect.

Personality, haha I'll leave you guys to decide if I'm the kinda person you want around. I'm not really one to make drama, I know when to keep my mouth shut (or fingers still?)

10. People you know in Zenith

Wessel, Dave, Freak-Boy, Joe, Taco, Gabe, Smithers and any other old Wave members that sneaked in with out me noticing.

11. Goals in Maple

Probably several to go in here. First things first would be to exceed my pre-hacked state, then as a longer term goal would be 100%+ boss damage including a full empress set. Another would be back to strongest eMS Paladin (not sure if I reached that previously, not many of us around xD). Decent SI will also be something when legend pot comes out

Not currently, although the University of Brighton apparently is considered the best place in world for Events Management, which is a 5 minute walk from my flat. From what I've heard it's a very laid back course with course work involving setting up music festivals, charity events, parties etc. So considering changing over to this.

Nice to see you applying for Zenith .
You will be very usefull in bossruns and you seem to be a nice guy.
We have done 2 empress runs with you, 1failure and 1succes if i'm correct.
So uhmm, you made a very good first impression.

Also nice to see that you have the will to upgrade your character.
Holding my vote for now to see if anyone else has complaints or that kind of stuff xD.
